Caroline Springs was a Lend Lease development begun in 1998, according to Victorian Places, and it grew into the eastern half of the City of Melton. It is the largest suburb on this site, with about 24,500 residents and about 7,500 occupied homes at the 2021 Census. Many of its gardens were first planted in the late 1990s and 2000s, so timber decks, sleeper walls and lawns from that era are reaching the end of their life.
Melton Landscaping does not do landscaping. Your request goes to a local landscaper who works Caroline Springs.

Before you book
Replacing a deck or wall is a chance to fix what made it fail, often water. Ask the landscaper about drainage and footings, because the basalt clays of Melbourne's west shrink and swell with the seasons. Structural work under a domestic building contract worth more than $10,000 must be carried out by a practitioner registered with the Building and Plumbing Commission.
Registration and permits
Planting, turf and garden maintenance are not registered work in Victoria. Walls, paving, decks and other structural work under a domestic building contract worth more than $10,000 must be carried out by a practitioner registered with the Building and Plumbing Commission, so ask who is registered and whether anything needs a building permit.
