Updated November 2026
Aintree is one of the newest suburbs in the City of Melton, on the growth front alongside Fraser Rise and Rockbank, with the new estates at Deanside and Plumpton nearby. At the 2021 Census it had about 8,000 residents, 99 per cent of occupied homes were separate houses, and the average household had 3.6 people, among the largest in the City. Yards here are for families, and most are being done for the first time.
Melton Landscaping does not do landscaping. Your request goes to a local landscaper who works Aintree.

Before you book
Read your Housing Design Guideline, if your development has one, for anything about front gardens or fences. If you plan a pool later, leave room for it and its barrier in the design. If the work is ever near a pool, ask for the barrier to be checked against Victoria's barrier rules.
Registration and permits
Planting, turf and garden maintenance are not registered work in Victoria. Walls, paving, decks and other structural work under a domestic building contract worth more than $10,000 must be carried out by a practitioner registered with the Building and Plumbing Commission, so ask who is registered and whether anything needs a building permit.
